Boat Rental FAQ
Can we bring our own food and/or alcohol drinks?
Yes, you and your group are allowed to arrange your own catering, bring your own food, and bring your own bottles/alcohol if you prefer on any of our yachts/boats.
When do I pay?
After you send a booking request, the vendor will accept or decline (usually) within a few hours. Once your booking is accepted, you will be notified by email and will now have to then pay online through AnchorsBook in order to confirm your slot within 48 hours before your booking date/arrival.
How long does it take to setup? Can I cancel?
Rentals or Charters can ALWAYS be setup/ready for the next day, or (in some cases) on the same day. Each vender has their own cancellation policy in their listing, otherwise the AnchorsBook policy is simply refunds for bad weather or events out of anyone’s control.
How do I send a booking/rental request?
Booking requests must be sent online on AnchorsBook by using the booking form and entering the date, time slots, guests, and selecting “Request To Book”.
Is a captain/skipper included for boat & yacht rentals?
Yes, our larger boat and all yacht rentals come with a captain/skipper. Our yachts also some with crew members to serve you and your guests onboard.
Why do I need to log in to book?
This is so that you are better able to message/coordinate with a vendor, as well as track your booking (outside of our automated notifications) at any time and cancel/dispute it if needed at any time.
Can we swim during a rental?
Yes you can! You can swim during the broad daylight by using safety measures like wearing a life jacket.
Where can we go during our rental?
If renting a boat or yacht with a captain/skipper, you can fully customize your route before the trip, or direct the captain during the ride.
